Trump Books First Physical Since Being Elected

If you think the left-wing media has something negative to say about every little thing President Trump says or does, they’re sure to come up with something forgettable after his upcoming physical at Walter Reed Medical Center.

The 45th President is 72 years old, and though he never drinks, has never smoked, or used drugs he has been known to indulge in the occasional poor dietary choice. Last year, Mr. Trump’s personal physician told him that he was overweight. But during his first year in office, he’s still been seen going for burgers and drinking soda. Of course, he’s entitled to enjoy himself- but we want him to make it safely through another seven years in Washington.

According to White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee, Trump will be examined by the White House in-house doctor Rear Admiral Ronny Jackson, M.D. Dr. Jackson also looked after former president Barack Obama’s health during his time in office.

During the presidential campaign in 2016, Trump released a letter from Dr. Harold Bornstein, his personal physician, which stated that Mr. Trump weight 236 pounds. This placed him at 29.5 on the body mass index, which means that he was overweight and nearly obese.

According to Bornstein, as per a statement, the doctor released in September of 2916, “If elected, Mr. Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency.”

But this doesn’t change the fact that Trump’s weight, as far as we can tell by seeing him on television, is about the same as it was 16 months ago. Since then, he has been tweeted photos of himself eating fried chicken, big macs, Taco Bell and drinking diet soda.

During the 2016 campaign, Corey Lewandowski, Trump’s campaign manager at the time told CNN’s Alisyn Camerota, “Well, he never ate the bread, which is the important part. He was busy campaigning. We didn’t have time to sit down for a meal. Even without the bread, the meal contains about 1,880 calories and a ton of sugar.”

Donald Trump is the oldest man to serve in the office of the President. That being the case, he appears not to have any of the symptoms of dementia that critics of Ronald Reagan accused Reagan of having. He appears to be energetic and in good spirits. Certainly, if the fast food can somehow be discounted the greatest risks to his health might be the stress of constantly being under attack by the media.

But, of course, there are the diet sodas as well. As anyone with even a passing interest in health will tell you – diet soda is full of highly toxic sugar substitutes that cause obesity, cancer, heart disease, and all manner of intestinal distress. It would almost appear that a person who would drink diet soda really hasn’t got the faintest clue about what’s healthy and what’s not. Let’s just hope he starts doing more double fisting of those water bottles in the near future and starts cutting back on the diet soda.

But, Mr. Trump is a uniquely constituted man. Rumor has it that he goes to bed at Midnight and gets up at 4:00 AM to start work. People close to him say that he is energetic throughout the day. What’s more, by all accounts, he has been that way his entire life.

If there’s one thing we know about people his age- the more motivated they feel, the more they feel that they have a purpose- the longer they live and the more robust they can be.

Donald Trump certainly appears to have a strong sense of purpose, trying to make America great again.

2018 is going to be a time of major change. At this point, it appears that a bad turn of Trump’s health could put a plug in the drain. So we’ll be following this story, and report on the President’s health as soon as more is known.
